Equipment
Tell me what you are shipping and I will match the trailer. Then I check the carrier before your freight goes on the truck.
Steel, pipe, lumber, machinery and building materials. I know how it should be chained, strapped and tarped, and I hold the carrier to it.
Taller freight that will not clear a standard flatbed. The lower deck buys the height without a permit.
Pallets, boxed and general freight. The everyday truck, with the same carrier checks as every other load.
Produce, food-grade and anything that has to stay cold. The unit, the set point and the carrier's record all get checked.
Your carrier cancelled and the pickup is still today. Call. The backup truck comes from carriers we already know how to check.

Pickup, delivery, commodity, weight and trailer. Form, phone or email. You get a real number from a person, not a guess from a computer.
Authority, insurance and the safety record are checked before the freight is tendered. The rate we agree on is the rate.
Pickup confirmation, updates while it rolls, paperwork when it delivers. If something changes, you hear it from me first.

Full truckload across the continental United States. Flatbed and step deck are the main work: steel, pipe, lumber, machinery and building materials. Dry van and reefer are secondary. We also cover backup capacity when a shipper's truck falls off.

Before a load is tendered we check operating authority and how long it has been active, insurance, the FMCSA safety record, inspections, and whether the carrier is who they say they are. The hard stops do not get waived. The full standard is on how BKE vets carriers.
We focus on full truckload. If it is less than a truckload, or it has to fly, call anyway. If it is not a fit, I will tell you straight instead of taking a load I should not.
