1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any BKE Logistics service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Description
BKE Logistics provides international freight forwarding, customs brokerage, supply chain management, and related logistics services across 150+ countries. Specific service availability varies by region and is subject to applicable laws and regulations.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into these terms to use our services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
4. Shipping & Delivery
Transit times provided at booking are estimates and not guaranteed. BKE Logistics is not liable for delays caused by factors outside our direct control, including but not limited to:
- Customs inspections, holds, or clearances
- Weather, natural disasters, or acts of God
- Labor disruptions or supply chain interruptions
- Regulatory changes or trade restrictions
- Inaccurate or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer
5. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete shipping information
- Ensuring goods are properly packaged and labeled for transport
- Disclosing all relevant customs information, including the nature, quantity, and value of goods
- Obtaining any required licenses, permits, or consents
- Paying all applicable duties, taxes, and fees in a timely manner
6. Prohibited Goods
You may not ship prohibited or restricted items without prior written approval, including but not limited to: hazardous materials, weapons, contraband, perishable goods requiring temperature control without prior arrangement, and items prohibited by law in the origin, transit, or destination country.
7. Payment & Fees
Payment terms are as agreed at the time of booking. BKE Logistics reserves the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at 1.5% per month. You remain responsible for all charges, duties, and taxes even if billing arrangements are made through a third party.
8. Liability & Limitations
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BKE Logistics' total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the lesser of (a) the value of the affected goods, or (b) the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. BKE Logistics shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
9. Insurance
Standard freight rates do not include insurance. Cargo insurance may be purchased separately and is subject to the terms and conditions of our insurance providers. Please inquire about coverage options and limitations prior to shipment.
10. Claims
Any claim for loss, damage, or delay must be submitted in writing within the timeframes specified in your service agreement — generally no later than 30 days after delivery for damage claims, and 60 days for loss claims. Failure to report within these timeframes may void your claim.
11. Data & Communications
By using our services, you consent to receive electronic communications regarding your shipments, including tracking updates, customs notifications, and service-related announcements. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on the BKE Logistics website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of BKE Logistics or its licensors and may not be reproduced without prior written consent.
13. Termination
BKE Logistics may suspend or terminate services at any time if you breach these terms, provide false information, or engage in conduct that threatens the security or integrity of our operations or other customers' shipments.
14. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which BKE Logistics' principal place of business is located, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
15. Changes to Terms
BKE Logistics reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The effective date of the current version is posted at the top of this page.
